The 7th EPIF will be held in New Delhi India 10-12 February 2011.The APO(Asian Productivity Organization) is organizing the EPIF in India, One of the most vibrant economies with an emerging environmental business sector, will significantly regional environmental cooperation and the use of eco-friendly products and services in the Asia –Pacific region.
The APO has organized six EPIFs since 2004.Each EPIF raised awareness of GP, green supply chains, green purchasing, and green consumption in the host country. EPIF host countries also undertook initiatives focusing on the environment and established national green purchasing networks and /or green awards. Furthermore, regional cooperation in environmental business was strengthened.

Green Productivity and the Eco-Products International Fairs
The APO’S Green Productivity (GP) program was established in 1994 with support from the government of Japan to address both environmental protection and productivity improvement. Numerous GP projects have been organized in all APO member countries. Recognizing the importance of obtaining advice and support from Japanese corporations with rich experience in environmental management ,environmental technologies, and environmental services the APO founded the Green Productivity Advisory committee (GPAC) in cooperation with leading Japanese companies in 2003.Since 2004, Eco-Products International fairs (EPIFs), Which showcase the most advanced environmentally friendly technologies, products and services, have been held in APO member countries annually with the support and cooperation of (GPAC).
