SME Clusters in Pakistan have huge potential and critical to SME growth. SMEDA has always been fully cognizant of the significance of Cluster Development and has taken several initiatives for sustainable development of these clusters in the WTO regime and global village era. One of the development initiatives is the establishment of Common Facility Centers to ensure technology transfer, technological up-gradation, development of skilled workforce.
The establishment of CFCs is an integral part of SMEDA’s Cluster Development activities and for this purpose series of meetings and in-depth need assessment survey with the industry stakeholders is carried out. On the basis of these finding proposals for establishment of cluster need based CFCs are prepared. The funding for these centers is secured from Government of Pakistan / Government of Punjab and other working partners i.e. TA’s and CCI’s etc.

Punajb Investment Guide was developed to highlight different industrial cluster of Punjab aiming at enabling the investors to make a preliminary assessment of potential investment opportunities. All the material included in this document is based on data/information gathered from different publications, institutions, experts, stakeholders and internet.
Punjab - the land of five rivers, population-wise the largest, and once known as the granary of East, Punjab is the lifeline of Pakistan. It is the second largest and most populous province of Pakistan. It contains several major cities of the country: Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Sialkot, Multan and Gujranwala. There are different pockets of industrial clusters spread across Punjab.
