| Small & Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) in collaboration with Sitara Institute of Management & Technology (SIMT) has planned to organize a one day training program on Corporate Social Responsibility and SA 8000. Understanding and implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility is important for enterprises for being socially responsible. SA8000 is a voluntary, universal standard for companies interested in auditing and certifying labor practices in their facilities and those of their suppliers and vendors. It is designed for independent third party certification. It can be applied to any size of business or organization. The program aims to introduce SA 8000 as a tool to achieve competitiveness and promote discussion on practical solutions. |
